Taken 3

Taken 3:

Well, after following trailers and promos it was worth a wait for watching this one on big screen.
One thing I would like to mention first is - I felt really good when I saw the theater was almost fully occupied. Whenever I go for a movie alone I usually prefer 1st row and today this first row was too fully occupied. It is really awesome that at the age of 62, Liam Neeson can still pull such a crowd. Well it has been said last part of the trilogy so that might be the other reason for such crowd.

Now, when I say last part, I should say Taken series has been tremendously awesome. According to me popularity of this series must be the main plot of the movie. A guy who is fighting against odd, sometimes single handed, to protect his family. Bryan Mills becomes favorite because he never gives up and leave no stone unturned to save his daughter.

Taken 3 begins with the same style; Indian song at the store from one of the opening scenes, Brayn's entry, made me happy, it felt similarly to the 1st Movie when Bryan goes to a shop to get a gift for his daughter and the shopkeeper is Indian. Well enough of showing my feelings to be proud to being an Indian and I'll start the review.

The movie is fully action pack, (well what else were you expecting?) but it is also takes us on emotional rides. The love these main three character shares is really heart warming. This time Bryan is caught between cops chasing him and he chasing bad guys. This movie has realistic circumstances, with hyper imaginative consequences. Overall presentation is exceptional. The chasing sequences are terrifically brought before us. At the time of watching them they doesn't seems unrealistic at all. Even the climax scene is wonderfully executed. This movie also witness beautiful friendship between Bryan and his ex CIA buddies. No matter what they hear or watch on TV they never losses their faith in Bryan and stands by him all the time. Wonderful Screenplay by Luc Besson and Robert Mark Kamen and amazing direction by Olivier Megaton. And we cannot except anything less from Liam than the way he has skinned Bryan Mills.

I will also like to mention here, even so the makers are saying this is going to be last part of Taken series, but at the end they have hinted possibility in continuity of the story, Or, they just want us to believe there is a possibility, huh! But who won't love to watch Bryan Mills in action again?

So, for all the action lovers do watch our one of the favorite action heroes. The movie is overall entertaining and fully "paisa vasool" one. You will definitely enjoy it as I did!

Unbroken!!!

UNBROKEN:

It was a surprise for me to learn that Angelina Joile's directed Unbroken was indeed released in India. Because I am still waiting for release of "In the Land of Blood and Honey".
But again a person like Jolie has fan following across the globe then how come it would not have.

I have been following updates on the movie since September, 2013 when Jolie was declared to direct the movie based on the 2010 non-fiction book by Laura Hillenbrand Unbroken: A World War II Story of Survival, Resilience, and Redemption. So obviously you can guess how much excited I would have been to finally witness it on the big screen.

I love watching War Movies. And no, not for entertainment purpose, but because they are the only way to see what exactly soldiers has gone through at the time of wars. Well not exactly , but close enough.
Watching the movies has much deeper impact rather than reading about it. Soldier is a soldier, irrespective of what country he is representing. Their dedication of life towards their nation is highly respectable and compelling. And I, rather no one can put it in words how much we respect their service.

Unbroken is a story of World War II veteran Louis Zamperini. The movie takes us through his childhood to the period of his service at the time of WWII. Now here I am not going to reveal any part of the movie. Because I really cannot put in words how this movie has compelled me, it can only be witnessed through one's eyes. Just want to say this movie can be a best form of tribute to  Zamperini for what he has gone through.

Jack O'Connell, I have become your fan now. This must be the best performance of his career, according to me. He has not just played but lived the character of Zamperini. Second best performance of the movie is of Miyavi. You cannot help to hate him, or even curse him a little bit. But I suggest don't curse him- Miyavi, he just playing someone who indeed has been ruthless in real life.

I am usually very unbiased person but when it comes to Angie I am little bias. There is nothing this lady can do to make me un-love her, in fact anything new she does makes me fall in love with her a bit more. Presenting a real life story on screen is hugely difficult task, yet Jolie has managed to give wonderful picture of the reality happened that time. We just don't see it we feel it. By the end of the movie I could not help my tears, they just flooded away.

So to all Angelina Jolie's fans, please and this is a big please don't miss this one. For Indian Jolie's fans go and catch it early coz not all good movies lasts much in our theaters. I guarantee you will have a splendid experience.
